Yep, this one hits close to home. I started a personal finance publication at the tail-end of 2019 — it’s been a grind to grow. Although it’s had some success, I sometimes wonder if it’s worth it since the time investment isn’t monetarily incentivized.

But I agree, running a publication here is not all about money. The curation and distribution to targeted audiences is a massive benefit.

Anyway, I applaud your hard work. I remember years ago when I first stumbled upon the PGSG, long before I ever undertook writing as a side business and then career. It’s been cool (and inspiring) to see your site and publication expand.
